We had a wonderful few days at berg en zee, the proprietors were lovely as were the staff, very warm and welcoming. Our family room was beautiful and very clean with all the facilities we needed for a young family ie a fridge, kettle and access to a microwave. There was also an honesty bar and homemade dishes in the freezer which we took advantage of. On the first night we had homemade lasagne and a bottle of red wine on the balcony while the kids had an early night !!!!

Jackie and Glen were wonderful hosts and nothing seemed too much trouble for them. The rooms were well equipped and comfortable and also cool which was a big plus in the heatwave Cape Town was experiencing.
I would definitely recommend Berg en Zee to anyone travelling to the Cape.

Every room at Berg en Zee has the most amazing sea view - and, not only can you see the water, you can hear the waves lapping up on the beach just across the road! The spectacular sunsets over Table Mountain are a favourite with all our guests. |

Description
Berg en Zee Guesthouse is situated in the heart of the picturesque "old village" of Gordon's Bay - two minutes' stroll from the sheltered Bikini Beach and five minutes from a variety of restaurants and outdoor cafes. All our rooms are extremely spacious with private balconies looking across False Bay towards Table Mountain. An en-suite bathroom, air conditioning, tv with satellite channels and bar fridge are standard with all rooms. Gordon's Bay is an ideal spot from which to visit the many attractions of the Cape and our resident tour guide, Glenn, will gladly share his extensive knowledge of the region.
