Bella's De Pondok

Bella's was easy to find, within walking distance of the main road and the heart of Dullstroom. Clean, cosy and comfy - was great to feel like we were having a break and able to put our feet up!

We stayed for 4 nights in this lovely cottage in this quiet little town and had a wonderful rest and some great food in local restaurants. The cottage is fully equipped and cosy with a fire place for cold evenings and a lovely small garden for warm days. It really had everything we needed for our mini break. The owners were extremely helpful and take real pride in what they are doing. It is excellent value for money. It is a great base for hiking, birds of prey centre and just pottering round the local shops..and obviously for trout fishing although that wasn't the purpose of our holiday!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were very comfortable. Having breakfast outdoors in the braai area, in the sunshine was wonderful. In a matter of five minutes we saw a Drongo, 2 Starlings, a Bulbul, a black Sunbird, a Robin hopping round on the lawn, a Rock pigeon and a crow flew by. What a pleasure! The fireplace indoors and candlelight were also very welcome and we were able to relax completely. Thank you.

A lovely relaxing, chilly weekend spent in Dullstroom. It was our first trip spent in this beautiful village and we will definitely be back to explore more. Accommodation was great and had everything we needed. Fireplace worked like a charm! Amy
