Beaufort Manor was really such a lovely surprise. We enjoyed our stay and wished we could have stayed longer. Beautiful cottages, lovely gardens and the scented linen won me over completely.

A wonderful memory -
15 March 2007
We spent two nights including the New Year's Eve at Beaufort Manor on our way back from a ten-day trip on the Garden route. Although it might sound strange to spend the NY's eve in a hotel, we did not feel stranger during our 2-night stay. The staff were extremely friendly, the children had real fun swimming in the hotel's pool, and we had the best (I mean it) dinner ever during our 2 weeks trip in South Africa not to mention the very good selection of wine. Guests are invited to relax in our cosy bar, which boasts a wide variety of whiskeys and brandies, to mention but a few. We even stock 'witblits' for the adventurous and daring. A selection of cigars is also available.
From the courtyard, with its centerpiece a pond, in which koi peacefully patrol between fountains, steps lead down to the saltwater swimming pool. To the side of these water features stands a wide observation deck; a place to enjoy Karoo views with a quiet drink in the crisp air, far from the mechanical madness of highways.
Cool down in the saltwater swimming pool and soak up some sun on the deck.
Beyond the reception area, dining room and sitting rooms with their genteel air, Beaufort Manor offers eight designer suites that epitomise elegance and luxury.
The rooms are all equipped with television (MNET and DSTV-channels), bar fridge, air-conditioning, hair dryers and coffee / tea making facilities, as well as the necessary bathroom amenities.
Honeymoon couples can spend the night in our Romantic honeymoon-suite, where fresh flowers and complimentary sparkling wine awaits their arrival.
All of which makes Beaufort Manor not so much an overnight stop, but an elegant way of life to its clientele.
For those travellers who like to do their own thing there are five self-catering, open-plan cottages in the shade of anchient blue gum trees, where the only invasion of privacy is the sound of swans and ducks in their pond.
Each has an en-suite bathroom and fully equipped kitchen and sleeps up to four. The cottages are also equipped with TV's, air-conditioning, hair dryers and coffee / tea facilities. Please enquire about Braai-facilities.
