Description

Beachwood Chalet is situated in the small seaside town of Scottburgh, on the KwaZulu-Natal south coast. After a warm day on the secluded beach with its many rock pools, you can cool down in the pool that is 10 m from your chalet, and then relax with sundowners on your private deck, while watching a large variety of birds such as kingfishers, loeries, wagtails, bulbuls and woodpeckers in your own private garden with braai facilities. Wake up every morning with the sound of the breaking waves on the nearby beach and the unique call of the Natal Robin.

We offer a fully-equipped, self-catering log cabin located a mere 50 m from the sea. The cabin comfortably sleeps four guests with two bedrooms, of which one has a double bed and the other has twin beds. There is one bathroom with a shower, a spacious open-plan lounge with air-conditioner, DStv and DVD player, a dining room and fully-equipped kitchen. Both rooms have crisp white, percale cotton linen and bath towels are provided.

Beachwood Chalet is a privately owned chalet within the sub-tropical, shady resort of Rocky Bay, only 30 minutes from Durban. Rocky Bay is a 4 Star seaside resort with some of the best sea views possible, all without any sign of development and 24 hour security to ensure that access is restricted to guests only. Services such as cleaning, babysitting, washing and ironing can be arranged with the locally employed resort staff. Washing machines and tumble dryers are available on the main premises. There is plenty to see and do in the area, from surf fishing to deep sea fishing, snorkeling and scuba diving, jet skiing as well as nature trails and game parks, all within easy reach of the resort.
