Description

Enjoy one of the most spectacular views in Kenton-on-Sea while relaxing in this tastefully appointed venue. The village is located in the sunny Eastern Cape of South Africa and it boasts some of the most beautiful stretches of beaches in the country.

The Beach House has four bedrooms where guests are treated to spectacular views of the ocean and Bushmans River whilst lying in bed, reclining in the bath or showering in the outdoor courtyard. The main bedroom has a double bed and an en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom is sunny and it offers a double bed, a built-in dressing table and ample cupboards. The third bedroom is a sunny bedroom with twin beds and the fourth bedroom is ideal for children as it is furnished with twin beds as well as a double bunk bed.

The house has an interleading lounge and dining room furnished in a relaxed manner with handcrafted furniture and mohair rugs. Both rooms lead onto a sheltered courtyard which is ideal for barbecues and entertaining while still being able to enjoy the view. The dining room leads onto a sea facing patio which is a wonderful venue for sundowners. The lounge has a TV with full DStv, there is a fully equipped kitchen and a second bathroom with a shower.

During season, Kenton-on Sea is a popular and vibrant holiday resort, but out of season it is tranquil and unspoilt. Guests are afforded walking, hiking, fishing, boating, birding, canoeing, surfing, kiting, tennis, squash and bowls. Game viewing of the Big Five is within easy access as there are several game reserves in the immediate area. The nearby villages of Salem and Bathurst are historically interesting and were founded by the 1820 Settlers. The Diaz Memorial Cross is also well worth a visit.
