Bartholomew's Loft is an affordable, centrally situated self-catering accommodation ideally suited to families or friends travelling together in the Eastern Cape. We offer three bedrooms - one upstairs room with a king-size bed and two smaller twin rooms downstairs - and a spacious open-plan lounge, dining room and kitchen area.

Entrance to the property is through large gates with a paved driveway and ample secure parking. The historic building, once an old church, is full of character with its loft conversion and double-volume living area. Set off the historic Artificers Square, the original heart of 1820 Settler Grahamstown, it is within easy walking distance of the city centre and Rhodes University.

Courtyard Suite has a king-size bedroom, en-suite bathroom with shower and a separate open plan kitchen/dining room. Both rooms open onto a private walled courtyard, the charming stone walls are a typical feature of 1820 Grahamstown homes. Complete with water feature and small raised garden it gives the sense of an inner city sanctuary. Can accommodate 2 people. All linen and towels are supplied and the cottages are serviced daily. Each room has a heater and electric blankets for Grahamstown's chilly winter nights. Tea, coffee and rusks are provided, there is DStv and secure off street parking.
