Steeped in legend and immortalized in literature, South Africa’s Banghoek Lodge is one of the Elephant Coast’s original homesteads that has grown into an African bush holiday retreat. The lodge offers accommodation for all types of travellers and budgets, from chalets, self-catering, bush huts, campsites and dormitories. Situated close to the national highway, the lodge is easily accessible, perfect for a convenient stop over between Kruger National Park and Durban, yet a perfect base for a longer bush holiday or a relaxing country retreat.
We are a 3 Star lodge offering 30 en-suite chalets and 12 self-catering cabins. We serve dinner, bed and breakfast and also cater for functions, conferences and weddings. Banghoek’s speciality is providing an all-in-one service for the most unforgettable wedding. Whether your dream setting is bush, garden, indoor or outdoor, Banghoek's incredibly versatile location offers a full range of options, complemented by our highly experienced and passionate team.
Banghoek Lodge have hosted spectacular functions and offers a complete wedding hire service to suit any theme, as well as a list of hand-picked professional external service providers for cakes, photography, dress-making, décor and music. In addition, one luxurious suite in the main building features as a complimentary bridal suite for weddings hosted at Banghoek Lodge.
