A Home Away From Home
The Bancroft Bed and Breakfast was truly a "home-away-from-home" experience for me! I stayed 3 days with the Wagener family, and they made me feel right at home the moment I walked through the door! Tina and Ema even met Hanan and I at a gas station and escorted us back to their home, as I had just completed the Comrades Ultra Marathon in Pietermaritzburgh. Description
Bancroft B & B is in HIlton, in the forested, evergreen hills above Pietermaritzburg, the capital of Kwazulu-Natal. Offering 2 extremely comfortable, luxury B & B suites, with DSTV, a hospitality fridge, tea and coffee facilities, fans and heaters. The Family suite has 2 bedrooms, the Master Bedroom with a King size bed and the other with twin beds, and Double Suite has twin beds. Internet and fax facilities are also available. We serve a hearty English Breakfast or a Health Breakfast and endeavour to cater for special needs and preferences. Close to private schools like St. Annes and Hilton College ,10 minutes from the City Centre and at the start of the Midlands Meander we are conveniently situated near all the main routes, and being on the R103, we are very easy to find. Oribi airport is 15kms away and Durban is about an hours drive. Not to be missed - The Royal Agricultural Showgrounds are just 5 minutes drive away. Bancroft is on the doorstep of Worlds View which is a riding hotspot for Down Hill and Off Road Bikers and the surrounding counrtyside offers some of the most wonderful Off Road Dirt Bike terrain you can find anywhere.

The Family Suite has two luxury bedrooms. The Master Bedroom has a King Size bed, DSTV hospitality fridge and tea and coffe making facilities, comfy rocking chairs, an oak dressing table a wardrobe and luggage rack.
The second bedroom in the suite has twin beds and oak dressing table, luggage rack and a couch.
Both rooms share an en-suite bathroom with a deep bath with shower hose, and a toilet and basin, and have a pretty outlook onto the gardens.
