Description
Bamba Lodge is a beautiful house situated below Mount Sullivan near Port St Johns. Guests have a choice of three modern and comfortable rooms, some with a fully equipped kitchen.
The rooms are furnished with double or single beds and some rooms are equipped with bunk beds and sleeper couches. The rooms also have living areas for groups and families and, for those occasional rainy days, there is a TV and DVD player situated in the main house.
Bamba Lodge is relaxed and private and provides plenty of room, a big garden, and ample space for safe parking. It is situated on the road to Poenskop where guests can enjoy stunning beaches, great fishing and incredible natural surroundings. Fishermen will be happy to know that the lodge is situated just a castaway from the best bank fishing spot along the great Umzimvubu River. The 'Deep Hole' is the home of Grunter and Cob and the majestic Fish Eagle can be seen here. Exclusive access to this prime fishing spot can be arranged with the owner.
Bamba backs onto wetlands so the bird life on the property is truly spectacular. Deep sea fishing, dolphin- and whale watching, river and estuary fishing are all available and guests can also use Bamba Lodge as their base from which to hike in the incredible wild coast.
Port St. Johns is blessed with a subtropical climate all year round making Bamba Lodge a great holiday destination and the ideal place to slow down and escape the rat race.
