Just 50 min drive from Cape Town at the gateway to the Paarl and Wellington Wine-Route; you will find our timelessly elegant four stars Guesthouse and Winelands Venue, which is located on Bakenhof Wine and Grape Farm.

A tree-lined driveway that leads visitors through manicured vineyards, along with the guesthouse gardens, sets the tone for a scenic getaway. Lush gardens, a vine-covered terrace, swimming pool and incredible mountain views provide a sanctuary to be enjoyed at a leisurely pace.

The guesthouse sleeps up to 14 guests in five exquisitely appointed and individually themed suites. Three suites are separate to the main house with their own kitchenette, separate parking and entrance facilities, of which two are suitable for families and one for a romantic honeymoon couple.

The five en-suite bedrooms have been decorated with lavish attention to detail and give you the impression of being in an opulent home. Each suite has its own theme, which has been achieved through a mix of eclectic-modern flair and classic-revival.

Bakenhof Bridal Packages feature the luxury to prepare and dress in lavish surroundings, a private setting for stunning pre-wedding photos, serene accommodation for the bridal party on the pre-wedding night and a romantic honeymoon suite to celebrate special new beginnings.

As a country venue, we take pride in specializing in elegant weddings, exclusive events and special occasions for 10 to 100 guests. Our indoor and outdoor options include a romantic marquees tent, chapel, sunset deck and elegant banquet hall. Our conference facility offers battle-weary executives with a break from the city and inspires fresh perspectives. The superior setting and panoramic views provide the perfect backdrop for film shoot and stills or milestone birthdays. Exclusive bridal packages offer the discerning bride the ideal facility to prepare and dress in a serene environment.

Wow. What an amazing setting. The vineyard is beautiful, even in the winter. The staff are friendly and the amount of pleasure that goes into the work is telling. Thank you for a very nice and welcoming stay. A longer stay will be invested next time for sure.
