Avian Leisure has two spacious and modern apartments, both with their own private entrances and ample off road parking, in a natural setting on the hillside overlooking False Bay.
Shearwater, with its unrestricted and fabulous sea views, sleeps four adults comfortably. Facilities include a large open plan living room with self-contained kitchen and dining and sitting areas, a large sea-facing master bedroom and a second bedroom, both with twin beds, and two bathrooms, one with shower and one with bath. Both living room and master bedroom face onto a large wooden deck with magnificent views in all directions. Kitchen is fully equipped with hob, oven, microwave, fridge, crockery and cooking utensils. TV and telephone available and kettle braai by arrangement. Watsonia is a one bedroom suite, with twin beds, a bathroom with large shower and a light and airy living room with small but well equipped kitchenette (fridge, microwave, hob, crockery and cooking equipment). TV. It does not have a patio but guests staying here have access to our garden, which provides stunning sea views. Laundry service is available in the village. All towels and percale linen are provided and are changed twice a week. The apartments are serviced on a twice weekly basis.
We are ideally situated to explore the delights of the Western Cape, from Cape Point to the Cape Winelands. Simon's Town itself is a charming and historic village offering warm hospitality and a relaxed atmosphere:
- a variety of good restaurants and shops in and around the village
- safe, sheltered bathing beaches on the warm water side of the Peninsula
- Access to a myriad of activities, experiences and sights...sea fishing, walking, scuba diving, canoeing, bird watching, pelagic trips, whale watching, golfing, shark viewing, to name but a few... And over and above all this, there are the simple pleasures of waking to a spectacular sunrise over False Bay and watching the full moon emerge over the bay.
