The B&B is lovely and peaceful and we though the food at the restaurant was excellent - perfect for a relaxing and romantic weekend away.

Description
The Artists' Cafe and Guest House in Mpumalanga offers that delightfully different insight which is the Hendriksdal experience.
'Where the air smells like air and the water tastes like water' This phrase, epitomises the freshness of the area.
Situated in the mountains above Sabie and surrounded by lush green forests - a total escape.
In the bygone days the restaurant was the Station Master's house and the guest house was the Station Building.
Built in the early 1920's these structures were the hub of mining and timber activities in the area.
The Station Buildings - comprising the Station Master's Office, the Ticket Office and two Waiting Rooms have been transformed into en-suite accommodation.
Under careful supervision the decor and fittings have been set in the milieu of the 1920's - all designed to create an atmosphere of cosy comfort and complete relaxation.
A comfortable wood cabin serves as accommodation for families with children under 12 years.
The old House has been converted into a casual, family run Italian Trattoria, offering rural Tuscan fare.
A changing kaleidescope of artworks enhances the unique atmosphere. The award winning winelist of South African wines is especially selected to complement the menu which makes use of the fresh herbs and vegetables grown in the garden.
