We enjoyed a pleasant stay just before peak season in March 08. We flew in but this presented a problem as this is a self catering establishment and there is no shops close by. A lift into town with a taxi for groceries cost you R200 per person due to the fuel price @ R14per Liter and you cannot rent a car. The restaurant on site is okay for one or two meals but no breakfast on the menu. We bought fish from the local fisherman on two occasions and that was definitely a highlight. John ... more

We had an excellent time and enjoyed being there in the low season when it is quieter. It is also very good value at this time of year and the large chalets meant we had plenty of shade for the summer heat. The location, views, pool, and restaurant are excellent; great sea food. It was a very refreshing time for us.

CYCLONE FAVIO DID NOT BEAT US. We have repaired and are fully operational. The road from SA was not damaged and all goods are available in the town. Still the greatest destination in Mozambique.
The resort is self catering and consists of eighteen chalets. There is a central area with a restaurant, bar and swimming pool. The chalets can sleep up to six people and have a fully equipped kitchen.

With the latter in mind, the resort will offer, chalet maids, restaurant, bars (DSTV), fresh water swimming pool, permanent boat sheds and miles of unspoiled beaches. We will collect and deliver to the airport.
For the more active, we boast an extensive knowledge of the area, with our Dive Instructor/fishing expert having operated in these waters for nearly 10 years. Our portfolio includes unexplored dive sites, fantastic surf, fly and big game fishing.
A fully equipped SCUBA dive centre, boats and fishing equipment for hire, wind surfers, para sailing, 'banana boating', island trips and transfers, dhou trips, and much, much more.
Each chalet is well appointed with its own sea view. They are extremely spacious at approx 180sq meters in floor size and constructed out of timber on a raised hardwood deck under thatched roof.
It comprises: 2 main bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (shower, toilet and basin), and two beds on the mezzanine floor. The kitchen -lounge is open plan. A verander runs around the outside in the front of the chalet.
We have one luxury chalet at a slightly higher price and it has an extra bedroom and DSTV.

We are quite happy to rent them out to couples,singles on a per person rate. All price are done on a per person per night basis with children under 12 half price. There is a luxury chalet with extra bedroom and DSTV (bring card) - upmarket furniture and fittings (Price on request)
