Located on the south east coast of Zanzibar Island, in the village of Paje, Arabian Nights Annex is situated right on the shores of the extensive Paje beach. Crystal clear waters rich in corals and other marine life, white sandy shores and an unspoilt coast provides the ideal playground for water sports, swimming, diving, snorkelling, and fishing. Arabian Nights Annex is about 40 minutes’ drive away from Stone Town and an hour's drive from Zanzibar International Airport.

We have a total of 18 sea view rooms, 12 of which are on the ground floor and six are on the first floor. Our cool, comfortable and stylish rooms with classic interiors combine Western and Zanzibari taste. The seafront rooms are about 10 m from the beach, offering spectacular views of the Indian Ocean. Room facilities include air-conditioning, fans, hairdryers, a minibar, satellite TV, en-suite bathroom with hot water shower, mosquito nets, electronic safety deposit box, and a large verandah with ocean views.

The chefs use only the freshest produce, all flavoured with the amazing world-famous Zanzibar spices. Come and relax at our exclusive Makuti Lounge and enjoy reading magazines and novels while surfing the Internet through our wireless Internet connection which we offer at no cost. Within The Makuti Lounge is our TV area where you get to catch up with the latest current affairs on various news channels, sports channels or watch a movie on our big screen. Our souvenir shop offers memories of Zanzibar and convenient items that you may need, and you may also pick up a book, novel or magazine at our bookshop.

We also have a large swimming pool, with two Jacuzzis and enclosed sunbathing area surrounded by palm trees. Bask in the sun only a stone's throw away from the ocean while enjoying fresh fruit cocktails, or you can also try a healing massage using exotic oils.

In addition, we can arrange tailor-made tours and excursions in and around Zanzibar. Enjoy a spice trail, an eco-tour of Jozani Forest or get to swim with dolphins in Kizimkazi south of the island. Arabian Nights Annex has its own dive centre and is next to a kite centre where professional tuition is available for both beginners and experts alike. We also offer transfers to and from the airport, as well as taxi services around Zanzibar at affordable rates.
