Angels Rest Farm

We had a most glorius stay at Angels Rest. What a welcome, what hospitality. We had the freedom to come and go anywhere on the farm and got a tour of the vegetable/herb garden. Anita even got a chicken tour. Agnes overcame her fear of horses and discovered they had the gentlest souls and Bert experienced his first South African Braai. What a fabulous time. Friends joined us for an evening meal and our hostess generously supplied herbs from the garden. We loved the decor and felt rested after two days. I most definately will return.

We spent 4 wonderful days at Angels Rest and cannot recommend it enough. Conveniently located, yet peacefully tucked away. We were able to explore the attractions of Knysna and Plett and then come back to Merlins Cottage and kick back and relax. The children loved all the animals but especially the horses and we all loved the space.

Hannes and his horses looked after us extremely well in Liz's absence. Angel's Rest was perfect for our family, well located in tranquil forest between Knysna and Plett just off the N2. Thanks to Hannes for the birthday cake (hope to try his famous omlette next time) and always lots of generous hospitality.
