Description
Anchorage is a quiet and secure private residence set on the hill of Margate, within walking distance to all amenities, Manaba and Margate beaches, the kids pool and fun park, and the local fishing pier. Nearby activities include numerous renowned golf courses, minigolf, go-carting, deep-sea fishing, and visits to Croc World, the Wild Coast Casino, and endless restaurants, shops, malls, and beaches.
Anchorage offers affordable, friendly and relaxed self-catering accommodation in the form of the main house, as well as one-, two- and three-bedroom ground floor cottages which can be rented separately or together. The property is secured with electric fencing, which is linked to Chubb armed response, and we also offer ample under cover parking, a fenced swimming pool with a baby pool, as well as a jungle gym and bunny hutch for the kids. Pensioner and group rates can be negotiated, all families are welcome, and pets are allowed by prior arrangement.
The beautifully furnished upmarket main house sleeps up to 10 guests and comprises three spacious bedrooms, two bathrooms, a lounge with sea views, a veranda, and a large garden. DStv is available with guests' own smart card, and in some cases, their own decoder. There are fans in all the bedrooms as well as in the lounge and the kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering.
The five ground floor cottages are all fully equipped with fridge-freezers, microwaves, ovens, and colour TVs with DStv connections. All bedding, cutlery and crockery are provided, and each cottage also has its own private barbecue area.
