Owners Joop and Monica really went out of their way to make our short stay very, very enjoyable. Everything is just so clean, comfortable and pleasant that we felt sad to leave. Montague and Anchorage Inn will see us again - hopefully soon!

We really enjoyed our stay in Anchorage Inn and wished we had planned for a longer visit. Montagu is a very convenient place to stay if travelling on R62 and is a very interesting town, Loads of well organized hiking trails etc for the more energetic visitor. The cottage was well equipped and very comfortable with thatched roof, Very hospitable and truly lovely gardens and interesting honey birds and other species.We will stay longer next time
