My partner and I had to take the IELTS English Language Test in Jhb and couldn't have chosen a better place than Plumpudding GH. The Guest House is perfectly situated close to the city centre as well as some fantastic restaurants in Melville. The room was stunning and the attention to detail throughout the Guest House (including the beautiful gardens) made us feel right at home. We booked this hotel as the last night of our 3 week stay in South Africa as it was close to Mpumalanga airport. Nice but small rooms, big bathrooms. Very clean. Ate dinner in the restaurant, food ok, not great. Breakfast good.
