Pure bliss in the bush!
Telanie Smith, South Africa - 14 September 2009
We thoroughly enjoyed our 5 days at Amapalo! The Lodge is neat & well equipped to make your stay comfy & fun. Fantastic location, basically on the banks of the Crocodile River - saw elephant, giraffe, buffalo on the river bank while sitting on the patio! Very much enjoyed the daily visits by the warthogs, zebra, impala, mongooses and mischievous little monkeys! A true gem in the bush... We will definitely be back!

We heard lions roaring loudly on the 2nd night but saw them through binoculars eating a kill the following day from the viewsite. It was quite well situated for access to the Kruger Park but a rel ... more

Definitely great value for money.
Amy Sproule, South Africa - 25 April 2009
Had all we needed for a relaxing few days in the bush. Had 4 zebras walk through the yard while playing in the splash pool. As my 5 year old said, "I didn't expected to have zebras in OUR yard!"
