Alvera offers self-catering units or B&B style accommodation, in which case a special breakfast basket filled with an ample selection of breakfast choices is served to your unit.

All rooms have en-suite bathrooms and are equipped with extra-length beds with high quality mattresses. The family unit boasts a spacious, fully-equipped kitchen, ideal for socialising while dinner is prepared.

The guest house is situated in a beautiful, quiet residential area of Stellenbosch, within walking distance to shops, restaurants, and the historic town centre.

Alvera is a perfect base from which to explore Stellenbosch and the Winelands, Cape Town, Cape Peninsula, West Coast, Cape Winelands, and the Coastal Region to Hermanus. Was extremely comfortable, quiet area and lovely spacious unit. Friendly and most welcoming arrival. Very much value for money. Close to shops, restaurants and main roads to tourist venues.

Alvera Guest House was a wonderful base from which to explore the winelands area outside of Cape Town. The self-catering unit was perfect for the four of us and the kitchen supplied everything you could need. There is a Spar within a 5-minute walk, which made things easy for us. The rooms were pleasant and quite clean and the beds were comfortable. I would recommend this B&B to anyone!
