Description

This area needs a 4x4 to do activities. Up to us it’s not a problem but from us a 4x4 is needed for the beach, mouth, lakes, Mozambique or even KZN parks.

Maputaland Lodge offers luxury self catering as well as bed and breakfast accommodation. Situated close to the Kosi Bay lake systems as well as the Ponta Do Ora border post it is an ideal location to enjoy a holiday to remember.
Our chalets are fully equipped, serviced daily, with air-conditioning, and TV/selected DSTV channels.

All guests can be assured of a comfortable and relaxing stay.
For those who want to break away from the day to day routine we can offer scrumptious meals at our Restaurant. Or join us at our fully licensed bar for a sun-downer and soak up the African sun next to our sparkling pool.
At Maputaland Lodge we can guarantee quality and excellent service and great memorable holidays.

Food & Gastronomy: We have a fully qualified chef in the the kitchen who will cater for all our customers needs. Our restaurant opens at 7h00 in the morning until late. We are known in Manguzi for our quality dishes and food.

Business Traveller: We offer quiet chalets for our business travelers. We can do photocopies in the office and we will help people in need with our email and internet services. There is always a phone available should someone have a problem.

Conference venue: We can offer conference facilities to small groups for business or team building. For larger groups we can arrange the conference venue across the street, which can accommodate up to 50 people and has all the luxuries.

Although Maputaland Lodge is not close to the beach, it was central. We were close to all the reserves and every day visited a different beach. It is also a short drive to the border post and we could even do a one trip into Mozambique. A 4x4 is not optional. It is a must if you really want to enjoy your holiday. We will definitely stay again at Maputaland Lodge.

It was the most unwelcome I felt in a long time visiting a lodge. The service from the reception side was unfriendly, thinking they do u a favour. Will never stay there again. And the maintenance on the outside as well as the pool is terrible.
