Places we have booked through your company were of high standard. My wife and I had an unpleasant experience at Alikreukel though. The owners are friendly people, but we want to bring the following to your attention. We booked in the day after our wedding, the room seems to be a garage that was converted into a guest room and has 3 windows - one very small one on the eastern side of the room high up on the wall which did not let enough fresh air into the room. There for we opened the other two windows next to the sliding door. During the night some one opened the door by putting his arm through the window and unlocking the door, there is no security gate at the door. We suffered a great financial loss of about R25 000-00, our digital camera with zoom lenses, laptop computer and external hard drive, GPS (which the SAPS recovered) cellphone, around R5 000-00 cash which was our wedding gifts and our wallets with my I.D and our banking cards. We can not put into words the emotional shock we suffered – knowing some one was in the room whilst we were sleeping! We kept all windows and the door lock every remaining night. When we reported this to the lady - Corrine - she let us use her phone and P.C. to stop our cards at the banks. She offered to give us back the R800-00 we paid her - we declined it as we still stayed at the guest house for the remaining 3 nights. This was the only action both the owners took. Neither of them came to the room to inquirer about what and how this happened and what they can do to prevent this from happening again. I was informed that guest houses have insurance covering this type of incidents - my wife and I reserve our rights to lodge such claim against Alikreukel.

My parents enjoyed their stay, the views were absolutely stunning & breathtaking. The only downside is that the work space in the 'kitchen' is far too small, suggestion that you make the workspace area slightly bigger. Thank you

A nice place for a quite getaway.

A very enjoyable stay at Alikreukel, private and intimate. Very neat and the view is wonderful. Close to everything. Will defenitly return for another vacation.
