Al Hamra was built in 2011 and is designed in a contemporary Swahili style, which wonderfully captures the atmosphere of an ancient house but with all the contemporary features essential to modern living. The house is located within a secure gated landscaped garden and is fully staffed. Al Hamra sleeps 10 people, eight adults and two children, and boasts a courtyard swimming pool on the first floor.

The house takes its name from the ancient Omani town of Al Hamrâ, named for its beautiful vernacular architecture. It features spacious rooms with tall ceilings to maximise the cool sea breeze, and is set in an acre of woodland gardens with palms and many indigenous trees. With direct private access, it is only 100 m from the spectacular Turtle Beach. Al Hamra provides a number of services to guests to ensure their stay is as enjoyable and relaxing as possible.
