Agulhas Heights

Agulhas Heights is situated at the end of the African continent, at the meeting place of the Atlantic and Indian Oceans. Agulhas Heights are three fully equipped self-catering cottages in the southernmost point in Africa.

Three beautiful self-catering cottages welcome you with sweeping 180-degree views of the ocean and coastline. Each cottage has two bedrooms and accommodates up to four people, in one twin room and one double room. The Cottages are fully equipped and are within walking distance of the shops and restaurants, and you can experience the unique adventure of eating inside a working lighthouse in Cape Agulhas.

The famous red and white Cape Agulhas Lighthouse was built in 1840 and was the third to be built on the South African coast, a design based on one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. The lighthouse is today a National Monument with its own museum. Only a two-hour drive out of Cape Town, the beautiful and rugged landscape of the tip of Africa has been proclaimed a national park and is home to a diverse range of marine life as well as a breeding ground for the endangered African black oystercatcher.
