Welcome to Africa Whispers Country House. We are a home away from home on a three-acre horse estate in the country, where you will experience a sense of the various sounds of Africa.

The country house is located on the border of the Valley of a 1000 Hills overlooking the Inanda Dam in Crestholme, KwaZulu-Natal. You are invited to enjoy a relaxing stay with us, with sundowners on the verandah or just relax in the garden overlooking the dam, which is the perfect setting for an afternoon braai. You also can enjoy a refreshing walk on horseback across the plains of an abandoned farm.

Africa Whispers has a wonderful location in the country, and is close enough to all amenities. Our family unit more than met our expectations, with oven/stove/microwave, large fridge, braai, DSTV, large bathroom and plenty of space both indoors and out. The hospitality and assistance from hosts Tony and Sheena is fantastic, as is the welcome from their dogs, which add to the security and warmth. For those looking for self-catering close to Hillcrest (20min), this should be one of your first choices.
