Absolute Safari Guest Lodge is run by its owner, Dirk and his son Jacques, who keeps this operation small to cater for visitors’ specific needs. They accommodate only one family or group at a time insuring complete privacy in your own home. Together they plan exiting schedules for every day or leave you to experience Africa in your own time. Rooms in this thatched roof hide out enjoy air-conditioning and en-suite bathrooms while the upper level provides breathtaking views of the bush and the Crocodile River, which is the only thing separating you from untamed African wilderness.
Mouthwatering meals are prepared in true South African tradition. Dishes like “braais” are prepared to each individual’s preference and drinks can be enjoyed while listening to the sounds of the mysterious bush, while continuously being educated on South African culture and history. Best of all, this all takes place under a star filled sky around a bond fire with roars of distant lions and calls of hyenas.
Guests are spoiled with daily game drives into the South of the Kruger National Park which is renowned for its sightings of The Big Five. Open vehicles are used facilitated by expert game rangers. Other activities include nature walks, tennis, swimming and optional day trips to Mozambique.
