Above the Valley is a spacious, fresh, sunny and bright two-bedroom self-catering apartment situated on the Fish Hoek mountainside. It offers lovely views over the Fish Hoek Valley and the distant False Bay Indian Ocean.

There is a queen-size bed in the main bedroom, two single beds in the second bedroom and two bathrooms; one with a bath and the other with a shower. The apartment has lots of spacious cupboards and a fully equipped kitchen with a washing machine and dishwasher. There is a lock-up garage and wireless Internet available.

Watch the sun rise over False Bay and then stream into the lounge and sunroom off the main bedroom in the mornings; and into the kitchen and second bedroom in the afternoons. See the sun set over the small strip of Atlantic Ocean over Noordhoek that can be seen from the back door and have the mountain as your back garden.

We are just a five-minute drive away from the Long Beach Shopping Mall with all the shopping you would need plus restaurants. The proximity to both the Atlantic Coast and False Bay also makes this location desirable to visitors. Although so close to Fish Hoek, Kalk Bay, Simon's Town, Boulders Beach, Cape Point, Scarborough and Kommetjie, Above the Valley is only a 15-minute drive via Chapman's Peak to Hout Bay. From here, it is only a short drive to Camps Bay, Clifton and the V & A Waterfront. The scenic drive over Ou Kaapse Weg takes you via the Steenberg and Constantia wine farms to the city and beyond.

My family and I had a wonderful time in Fish Hoek. The apartment was perfect for a family of four, it was clean, had enough space, furnished in light and welcoming colors, and the view over the city and the mountains was stunning! The apartment is really beautiful and we enjoyed staying there. We will definitely come back.
