Agatha Mountain Retreat is a quaint cottage nestled in the valley of the Agatha hills, 5 kilometre outside Tzaneen. The house is tastefully furnished and completely private. Surrounded by the sound of running water and bird calls, it is the ideal location to 'get away from it all' and get closer to nature. The unit sleeps seven, and consists of three bedrooms, one bathroom, lounge, dining room and kitchen. A Braai area is located in the luscious, tropical garden, as well as a children’s playground. DStv is available on request (activated) Only 1 hour's drive away from the Phalaborwa gate of the Kruger National Park, and the Polokwane stadium, makes this an ideal overnight spot to break your long journey.

Excellent value for money

We only stayed one night as a stay-over because our kids played rugby in Tzaneen the Saturday. What a nice place! Close to town so you can buy what you need, and far enough out of town to really enjoy the beauty of the nature. It was so nice to hear the owls hoot while enjoying a braai. The place itself is really clean and the on-line pictures does not do the real deal justice. We really enjoyed the stay will definitely check availability here first before booking elsewhere.

The cottage was very well kept and stylishly decorated. We enjoyed our stay immensely and were able to pamper our aunt for her 50th birthday in the luxury bath tub with rose petals and champagne. Thank you very much we will definitely be back!
