A Good Place to Stay
I'm happy to recommend ABC - Holiday Flats Eden for short or long stays in central Durban. The flat situated on the 5th floor is safe, clean, easily accessible by taxi and the host was always helpful. He made both my arrival and departure easy by providing transport from and to the airport and even helped with shopping on the first day. The apartment is located about five minutes from the city center by car or bus –bus stop nearby. A few minutes walk from the beach. Also located in this area is the ICC –International Convention Center. The ideal base from which to explore Durban and surroundings, whether you are here on business or with family. Nearby: Durban’s Golden Mile, 6 Golf courses, Sun Coast Casino, Ushaka Marine World- (multiple restaurants, shops, aquarium), Natal Sharks Board, Rugby and Cricket stadiums, Umgeni Bird Park, Botanical Gardens, Japanese Gardens, Indian Market and numerous Flea Markets. Hospital & Medical Centers. Train & Inter City Bus Stations. Harbor, Wilsons Warf & Waterfront. The ICC is situated about 150 meters away-so in walking distance. There are two large, brand new, Shopping centers- Gateway & Pavillion - both about a fifteen minute drive away. La Lucia Mall –a ten-minute drive. A bit smaller shopping complex with all the necessary groceries and meals just round the corner so everything you could possibly need is at hand. A pick of restaurants on and around the promenade. The beautiful apartment consists of: one bedroom, lounge, dining area, fully fitted & equipped kitchen, shower & wc. Is on the 5th floor of a 15 story building and has a partial sea-view. There is 24hour security and the surrounding area is safe. The apartment can accommodate Up to strictly four persons only with a double queen-sized bed in the bedroom & two single beds in the living area. Has a TV, ceiling fan, washing machine, fridge-freezer, built in oven & hob, microwave, toaster, electric kettle, sandwich maker and hairdryer. This apartment consists of a small open plan lounge and dining area with a large built in fully equiped kitchen. The bedroom has a queen bed and bathroom with a shower and wc. 2 single beds in the open plan living area. This flat is not front line but does have partial see view.
