Facilities

This charmingly modernised cottage is situated in Franschhoek village and it offers two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and secure parking. The cottage is situated in a quiet area within walking distance of shops, restaurants and a supermarket.

The main bedroom has a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. The second bedroom has two single beds and an en-suite bathroom with a bath. Electric blankets, heaters and a fireplace are provided for winter and there are fans, air conditioning and a splash pool for the heat of summer. The spacious open-plan living area has a fully equipped kitchen, including a dish washer, washing machine and a tumble-dryer. From the front stoep you can enjoy views of the vineyards and mountains and the back stoep overlooks the small garden with mountains beyond.

Have just enjoyed 2 wonderful weeks in the gorgeous property of Liz Rundle at the amazing Huguenot mini town of Franschhoek. 49 is quite simply the best home from home we have ever rented in any part of the world and when you've reached our age, boy,you've seen a lot of rental promises. This one just exceedend all expectations and the lovely Liz is about to write out my deposit receipt for next year. Many thanks to Ruth for tidying up after us Just perfect.

Perfect situated near Mainstreet Franschhoek but situated in a silent area. Very comfortable with much space, a very modern kitchen and big sitting room. Thanks a lot we hope to be back for longer.

What a great place to start a holiday: front porch, small garden cum patio at the back. Very well-equipped kitchen and living room. Everything comfortable and tastefully furnished and decorated. Many restaurants and wineries just down the road, even though 49 Huguenot Street itself is very quiet!
