25 Southbroom Avenue is a self-catering four-bedroom holiday home with a pool and gardens, and is ideally located in the upmarket, peaceful resort of Southbroom on the Hibiscus Coast. Southbroom itself sits alongside the unspoilt beaches of the Indian Ocean and No. 25 is just a two-minute drive to the beach. Ideally situated for golfers, the popular Southbroom Golf Club with its subtropical vegetation and Indian Ocean views is just 500 m from the house. Other championship level golf courses are within the area.

Southbroom, often described as the jewel of the South Coast of KwaZulu-Natal is situated just over an hour’s drive south of Durban and boasts a wealth of sub-tropical vegetation, with 5 km of beautiful beaches alongside the Indian Ocean. Southbroom is malaria-free and offers a tranquil setting for parents to relax, and for children who enjoy investigating rock pools, surfing, fishing, exploring the lagoon or Bushbuck Trail, or venturing to Riverbend Crocodile Farm.

The livelier seaside resorts of Ramsgate and Margate are just a 10 to 15-minute drive and horse riding, deep-sea fishing and many other activities can be arranged nearby. The Wild Coast Casino complex at Port Edward is 20 minutes away and slightly further afield is the stunning Oribi Gorge, with its Wild Gorge swing at Lehrs Falls, is well worth a visit.

25 Southbroom is a generous sized holiday house accommodating eight people comfortably to a maximum of 10. Entering into the spacious hallway you will be on the upper level comprising the lounge, kitchen, king-size bedroom, study, cloakroom, and a patio with small barbecue area and steps leading to the garden. Downstairs you’ll find the TV lounge with adjacent games area and three bedrooms housing the queen bedroom and two twin rooms, as well as sliding doors leading onto the pool and gardens.

The kitchen offers plenty of room and is well equipped for self-catering, with a oven, hob, microwave, fridge-freezer, chest freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, and a large cupboard for stocking up and which houses the ironing board and iron. The dining room seats eight and is light and airy, with a large window showing views of the garden and a door leading onto the patio. The downstairs TV lounge features a TV with DStv and a portable CD player, while the games area, next to the TV lounge, houses a pool table and a dart board.

The patio features outdoor dining furniture and a small barbecue area. The splash pool is looked after by a pool company and provides a decking area, table and four chairs, plus four sun loungers. The gardens are mainly on a slope, with a small wildlife pond, and are well tended. There are also two separate portable barbecues. In addition, the house is alarmed with connection to 24-hour armed response and there is also a double garage available for guests' use.
