When staying at Lucky break Lodge, guests have a choice of staying in the House or the separate Family Unit. The property is within walking distance of shops and the beach.
The House offers three bedrooms furnished with a queen-size bed, double bed and bunk beds. It shares two bathrooms with baths and showers. The comfortable lounge is equipped with a TV with DStv and offers lovely sea views. The kitchen is equipped with a microwave, a gas and electric hob, toaster, fridge, cutlery, crockery and a washing machine. Tea and coffee-making facilities are also provided.
The open-plan Family Unit is furnished with a double bed, two bunk beds and an en-suite bathroom with a shower only. It is equipped with a fridge, toaster, cutlery, crockery and tea and coffee-making facilities.
Plettenberg Bay offers miles of pristine beaches to choose from and a wide variety of activities to enjoy such as charter boat cruises, hiking, canoeing and abseiling, or just lazing on the beach. For the adventurous palate, trips to the Mampoer and Witblits distillery are available, and for the adrenalin junkies, Bloukrans Bridge is the site of the world’s highest commercial bungee jump of 216 m. Monkeyland Primate Sanctuary, Birds of Eden and Adventureland Plett are worth the visit, and for the golfers there are two clubs to choose from - the Goose Valley Golf Club or the Plettenberg Bay Country Club.
