Description
This ground floor apartment has two bedrooms and two bathrooms accommodating six guests. The main bedroom has two single beds while the second bedroom has two bunk beds. The lounge has a TV with local channels and it is open-plan with the kitchen.
The complex has direct access to the beach, two swimming pools, a playground, a tennis court, squash court and a volleyball court. The landscaped gardens have ponds with resident ducks and there are braai facilities dotted around the complex. There is a full laundry with washing machines and tumble-dryers within the complex.
Shelly Beach is known for its excellent rock and surf fishing. It is situated halfway between Margate and Port Shepstone. The village gets its name from the wide variety of shells that can be found on the beach after high tide. The finest miniature "Pink Lady" shells can be found here. The Blue Flag beach has shark nets and it is patrolled by lifeguards during the school holidays. There is a reef approximately 1500 m out to sea which is great for scuba diving and the town has many water activities for the whole family.
