One of the most spectacular roads in South Africa is the R44 between Gordon's Bay and Hermanus, renowned for whale watching. Pringle Bay is on that road, just one hour drive to Cape Town and even less to the Cape Of Good Hope and the winelands. Pringle Bay is a very charming, almost rural seaside resort in a "Fynbos" nature reserve. Surrounded by pure nature, not disturbed by street lights: Live as in the African Bush. Stunning stairy nights and the colours of mother nature in Africa will delight you.

There are 3 small grocery shops in Pringle Bay as well as 4 good restaurants, and more in the neighbouring towns Betty's Bay and Kleinmond. Our favourite "Hook, line and sinker" offers the best fish & chips served on today's paper. Make your own "braai" (barbecue) or find out where to get freshly caught crayfish! The house is about 100sqm and has a spacious living and dining area with open plan kitchen and fire place. Two big wing doors open to the covered patio and further into the garden. On the first floor there are two bedrooms, and modern bathrooms with shower. The sliding doors from the bedrooms open onto a balcony. The views from the patio are nice while the views from the top floor are just spectacular. Wake up and see Cape Point – had this before?

Our house is new, tiptop in shape and has been furnished with love. Enjoy the open fire when cold, listen to soft music from the iPod music system and just indulge into a peaceful holiday mood…
Last but not least: Lighten the braai and play a round of boule in the garden. Enjoy!
