Set midway up the Helderberg in the heart of the Cape Winelands, 10 Ocean View Road is a stone's throw away from Stellenbosch, Franschhoek, the Strand, Gordon's Bay and Hermanus, and offers spectacular views of the ocean and the False Bay area. The home features three bedrooms with two bathrooms, one en-suite. The house has been designed to sleep six people, and no overcrowding will be allowed. With an open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining room, and a large patio leading off from the living area, the house commands a lovely panoramic view of False Bay.

The patio, with its rim plunge pool, is also accessible from the main bedroom. Conveniences include central heating, ceiling fans, personal safes, satellite TV and DVD throughout the house. The dwelling is also fully secured with lock-up garaging and courtyard parking. The housekeeper will attend to daily duties such as washing, ironing, cleaning and cooking. She will be happy to assist with other duties, such as babysitting, by prior arrangement and at additional remuneration.

Somerset West is beautifully situated in a superb mountain environment lying at the foot of the Helderberg overlooking False Bay. The town has a colourful history and was officially named after Lord Charles Somerset in 1820. Somerset West is situated about 50 km from Cape Town, with the renowned warm water beaches of the Strand and Gordon's Bay within a few minutes' driving distance away.

Somerset West is the ideal starting point for many day trips into Cape Town and surrounds, and now offers the amenities of a premier holiday resort as well as a number of large shopping malls. A modern private hospital is located in the centre of town, and the surrounding area boasts a number of famous farms such as Vergelegen. The area is also renowned for its good golf courses, of which the most famous is the Gary Player-designed Erinvale Golf Estate. In addition, many good restaurants are located in the vicinity.
