Normal small country town. Not much to do and Restaurants are closing too early like the Wimpy/KFC etc. Streets/roads can be upgraded as well.
Beautiful old buildings

Ficksburg has some beautiful old sandstone buildings that are worth seeing. There is not much in the town but places like the Blikplek and the windows of the Anglican Church are worth a visit. It also is central for someone who would like to explore the region and visit Clocolan, Fouriesburg and surrounding areas.
