Crayfish potjied, braaied and in slaai – what would summer be without kreef? Celebrate our West Coast Rock Lobster at the Paternoster Crayfish Festival this November. Paternoster is the crayfish mecca and this delicacy is prepared in true West Coast style.
Kreef sold at a ridiculously low price is obviously the main attraction and will be available in abundance. The shellfish delicacy will be served in the Crayfish and Beer Garden. Other food stalls will also be available for non-shellfish eating pallets.
The festival kicks off with the opening of the bar … do we need to say more?
No better place to celebrate this maritime delicacy than on the West Coast, land of sun-faded signboards, weathered fishermen, and of sermons washed down with fiery drank.
Grab your dive gear and get into the frigid depths to win the biggest catch of the day. Scratch out that tail and steam up some energy for the dance floor or kick back and relax to the tunes of many top class local artists!

Need to know? Get one of 3 types of tickets...
1) The R90 ticket includes FREE entry to the event, a crayfish of your choice and a glass of wine or juice or cold drink.
This ticket needs to be paid and booked well in advance - there are no R90 tickets at the venue or at the gate!
2) The R20 ticket for adults allows you entry to the event - this can be purchased at the gate /entrance.
No free crayfish or wine though!
3) The R10 ticket for kids allows you entry to the event - this can be purchased at the gate /entrance.
No free crayfish or juice / cold drink.
