Start your visit with an informative wine tasting or simply enjoy single estate cool climate Pinot Noir and aromatic whites with locally sourced, seasonal food, the best that Central Otago has to offer. Choose from the daily changing a la carte menu or indulge in Amisfield’s famous shared dining experience, Trust the Chef set menu where you will be served a selection of dishes designed to be shared at the table; all dishes are seasonal and chosen by the chef based on the freshest ingredients available on the day. Open Tuesday to Sunday, from 11.30am to 8pm; the last bookings are at 6pm. Amisfield Bistro is a finalist for the Cuisine NZ Restaurant of the Year 2011 awards.

And with a chef that is known for his sweet tooth, there’s no getting away without a bite into the decadent dark chocolate-espresso torte with merlot poached pears & cardamom parfait.
