City Bowl Tjing Tjing is a truly unique establishment in the heart of Cape Town and is literally a rooftop bar. Occupying the space of an old attic in a 200-year-old building, Tjing Tjing's interior is filled with wooden tones. A lot of Asian influences can be found in the décor and all the furnishings and fittings combine to make you feel right at home in an other-worldly space.
Tjing Tjing serves a variety of classic cocktails, awesome beers on tap and also has an extensive wine list. The small but well thought out tapas menu offers sticky Asian-glazed pork belly skewers , cheese & charcuterie boards, risotto balls, cheesy quesadillas, steak rolls and a few other irresistable indulgences.
Indie and electronic music permeate this beautiful space and creates an ambience not easily forgotten.
Tjing Tjing is open Tuesdays to Fridays from 4 pm until late and Saturdays from 6.30 pm until late. Private, exclusive bookings can be made on Monday nights.
