Alex Garden Restaurant is situated close to the beach and offers a welcome respite from the hustle and bustle of this popular seaside town. The historical building, indigenous garden and the exquisite decor combine to create an extra special dining experience. The menu is small but does not disappoint with starters like seared kudu carpaccio drizzled with mustard dressing and served with parmesan shavings and tomato concassé, and a twice baked goats cheese soufflé with a homemade tomato chutney. The tempura prawns with chilli mayonnaise and ginger and butternut soup with croutons are also not to be missed.
