The a la carte lunch and candlelit dinner cruises from 12noon to 3.00pm. The Dinner cruise is from 7pm to 10pm. Breakfast serves up simple favourites like omelettes with a variety of fillings, eggs to order, croissants, muffins and, of course, the traditional English. The lunch menu offers light meals like bangers and mash, the soup of the day, freshly made calamari and chips and the delightful old favourite fish and chips, fillets of fish in an ale batter, deep-fried to perfection. The a la carte menu is the pride and joy of this spot with a wide variety of dishes that are as varied as diners' palates. Try the Tempura Prawns, served with avo, sweet chilli jam and basil pesto mayonnaise, or the Mussel Chowder, perfectly cooked mussels in a creamy white wine and garlic sauce. A variety of salads are also available. A signature dish here is the Roast Leg of Karoo Lamb, cooked as it should be and served with roast potatoes and veggies. Another popular one is the deliciously rich oxtail stew - oxtail braised in red wine and stock with onions and carrots. Other meals include the Madagascar steak, the Sesame Seed Crusted Kingklip, Grilled Tiger Prawns, and the Panzerotti Cremolatti, pasta parcels filled with butternut in a tomato and cream sauce. The restaurant serves as a conference venue and is a great spot for banquet dinners, office parties, product launches and cocktail functions. On occasion they also have live music for an awesome dinner-dance experience. The setting, the hospitality, the food and the ambience - all highly recommended.
