Diners are spoilt for choice and starters range from straight forward focaccia or calamari to more complex dishes such as the Carpaccio - pepper-crusted beef fillet topped with mushrooms, parmesan shavings and rocket. A variety of truly Italian pizzas and pastas are available and a combination to try is the 'trenette' pasta with calamari, mussels, porcini mushrooms, black olives and cherry tomatoes in a chilli, garlic, white wine and olive oil sauce. House speciality seems to be the fillet served with a reduced balsamic vinaigrette topped with rocket and parmesan shavings, the prawns prepared in a secret special Pernot sauce and the 'eight and a half pasta' with Italian sausage in a tomato sauce. This restaurant is open seven days a week from 10.30 am until 10 pm. Booking is advised.
