Dishes include almost all the peri peri favourites and the grilled meats are served after being cooked to perfection...and taste. Try the awesome, conversation-starting espetadas, cubed pieces of succulent meat that drenches the chips below in the wonderful flavours of the sauce and basting it was prepared in. Other dishes include the traditional chargrilled chicken and the melt-in-your-mouth prawns. The interior is filled with Portuguese memorabilia, rustic wooden benches and wooden tables, all surrounding the central fireplace that lends a cosy feel to the room. The wine list comprises good South African bottles, and even some imports from Portugal.

Today guests happily sit at its rustic bench tables be it indoors or at the covered patio and enjoy the prepared catch of the day. The extensive seafood menu delivers peri-peri Yellow Tail, Calamari, seafood curry or Mussel and Shrimp spring rolls. Other menu items include venison dishes such as Gemsbok Loin and Eland Steak. Be sure to check out the blackboard for the specials. In winter the best seats are close to the log fire.
