The menu offers everything you would expect of an Indian restaurant, but the dishes have a distinct South African twist to them. A favourite is the classic Butter Chicken, melt-in your-mouth chicken smothered in a mild, creamy sauce infused with just the right amount of spices. For the more adventurous there is the Durban Lamb Curry, a bit hotter than most. Seafood lovers can enjoy a delectable prawn curry and the Tandoori Chicken is a must. The dishes are served with soft, fluffy, aromatic rice and the traditional sambals.
Finish your meal with a proudly South African malva pudding, just to add to the decadent flavours.
Perima's is open for dinner on Sundays and Mondays and for lunch and dinner from Tuesdays to Saturdays.
