Description

A superb Indian restaurant with an emphasis on vegetarian options, Chandani provides delicious authentic food with influences from all over India.

Enjoy succulent tandoori dishes and deliciously soft naans and parathas as well as exciting vegetarian options like paneer and brinjal curries. The wine list is carefully compiled to include wines that go perfectly with the Indian fare.

The decor is designed with traditional Indian surroundings in mind and features beautiful touches such as a peacock mosaic and decorative lanterns. For a taste of India that you won’t forget, try Chandani.

My local restaurant - Despite hardly ever really understanding the name of the dishes, in all the million times I have eaten at Chandani, I have never been disappointed. The couple who own the place are reliably cheerful, quirky and friendly, and I have allowed them to choose my meal for me on several occasions with great success. Sometimes there is a bit of a wait, and you'll spend a bit for a good night out, but it is well worth it. As far as I'm concerned, Chandani is the best Indian restaurant in Cape Town, hands down. That is all.
