Wonderkop Nature Reserve

Aptly named for its star attraction, the “koppie”, Wonderkop is a great place to kick up some dust with your 4x4 while exploring this diverse landscape. The reserve is situated along the Mogalakwena River and Glen Alpine Dam, 115 km north of Mokopane.
Other attractions include numerous natural springs and spectacular wildlife, particularly the rare Roan and Sable antelope. The reserve is also home to healthy populations of blue wildebeest, giraffe, zebra, waterbuck and gemsbok. The diverse birdlife is a draw card for birders keen to tick off bushveld species.
