Is the urban jungle making you feel a bit jaded? Take on the challenge of this two-day 130km mountain biking route on stunning single track. Get your lungs burning and legs aching as you pump those pedals on the climbs and feel your stomach churn on hair-raising downhills through incredibly scenic bush and mountain countryside.The route takes bikers through game reserves and private farmlands. Day one is a totally new route, taking riders from Emseni Camp through Spioenkop Game Reserve and over the back of Spioenkop Mountain, the location of the infamous Battle of Spioenkop. 75km of testing climbs, game tracks, cattle tracks and awesome views form the basis of day one. The second day heads out of the Emseni and drops down into the spectacular Tugela River Bushveld. Burn rubber along a single track made by large herds of cattle following the Tugela River before crossing famous Boer War tracks. The race promises to be a route that is both challenging and enjoyable for any rider of any skill level. Go on, do it!
