In and Around Wilderness

Zucchini

If walls of this honest country restaurant could talk the conversation would include the words fresh, vibrant, from scratch, home grown organic and compliments to the chef. Here simplicity is the key. You can expect dishes filled with flavour - a taste experience for the natural foodie.

Head chef Zelide Breedt changes the distinctive menu weekly as well as seasonally. Try their signature dish, Gudgu, which is a vegetarian dish combining their own garden grown veggies, phyllo cigars stuffed with goats’ cheese and butternut and roasted sweet potato. Zucchini is a sustainable restaurant that grow 70% of their own vegetables, an onsite Tilapia fish farm and a close to perfect recycling target.

We are passionate about supporting the Slow Food Movement, bringing back a food culture that highlights the sourcing of quality ingredients and the importance of food and cookery to community and family life.

The pizzas are possibly the best on the Garden Route and the beautiful salads, antipasto, pastas, grills and seafood are hard to beat.
