Come and experience our tranquil and homely atmosphere at Royal Sheba Guesthouse. We offer a luxurious, peaceful and secure stay in the famous town of Barberton, which is also known as the “Gem of the Lowveld”.

We have seven luxurious en-suite bedrooms which are individually appointed with your comfort in mind. All rooms have air-conditioners, TVs, hospitality trays, percale linen and some of the rooms have outside entrances. We have one Executive Room, two Family Rooms, three Luxury Rooms and one Business Room. We offer a scrumptious full English breakfast and we can prepare a braai for you on request while you sit back, listen to the birds, have a drink and enjoy your meal. We have a lovely sparkling pool, a braai area and a fully licensed bar and games room with a full size snooker table.

We offer the ideal base from which to explore the many tourist attractions in Mpumalanga, starting with places of interest in and around Barberton. With the tropical garden, quiet surroundings, refreshing pool and recreational area, Royal Sheba Guesthouse proves to be an ideal setting for relaxation.

Kruger View Cottage is a beautiful, thatched cottage on the Crocodile river with a view over the Kruger National Park. It is situated in Marloth Park, which is a wildlife conservancy that is on the southern boundary of the Kruger National Park.

This cottage has three bedrooms all with en-suite bathrooms and has a view onto the Crocodile River and the Kruger National Park beyond. The fully furnished unit has a large, open-plan lounge and fully equipped kitchen. There is also a second living area with an additional two single beds. The cottage has a braai area and splash pool that adds to the enjoyment of the natural bush.

There is a lovely viewing deck overlooking the Crocodile River and the Kruger National Park. Wild animals such as kudu, zebra, giraffe and warthog wander freely around the cottage. At night you can hear the roar of lions and the call of the hyena. The grunting of hippos in the river add to the magic of the bushveld.

Marloth Park has its own adjoining wildlife reserve and boasts four of the big 5 with the exception of elephant however, as the crocodile river forms the boundary between Marloth Park and the Kruger National Park, you are likely to spot elephants playing in the river.

Beyond the Boma is nestled deep within the Marloth Park Conservancy. This guest house can comfortably sleep 14 guests in six tastefully decorated rooms.

Set in elegant surrounding the spacious property has six rooms all with TVs, a bar-fridge and air-conditioning. Five of the rooms are situated on the ground floor and have a private entrance onto the pool deck. Two rooms are situated on the first floor enjoying view of the bush and swimming pool. Dinner can be booked at an additional cost.

The guest house offers a selection of communal areas where guests can gather and relax. There is a splash pool on one side of the house and a larger swimming pool on the other. Guest can also make use of the entertainment room with a pool table, or relax in the Jacuzzi, or besides the fire at one of the two boma areas. Dinner and breakfast is served in one of the two dining areas; one inside and one outside.

The guest house has been designed in such a way that each guest is able to maintain their privacy. Please note that Marloth Park is a malaria area.

Mvuradona lies in the heart of the bushveld with wildlife on our doorstep. Sit back, take a stroll or ride a bicycle while you enjoy sightings and sounds of hippos, elephants, lions and much more from the Crocodile River.

Our riverside accommodation depicts an authentic African thatch lodge with suites beautifully appointed in white linens and teak furniture. Large rooms and open communal areas promote a warm atmosphere and a feeling of personal space. Currently guests can choose between the Honeymoon Suite, the Double Room or the Twin Room. The Double and Twin Rooms are inter-leading and can be booked as a family unit (children would only pay half-price in this arrangement). For ultimate privacy and relaxation you can hire out the entire lodge on either a self-catering or catered package.

Our four luxury bush suites offer privacy and a traditional lodge atmosphere, whilst maintaining the tranquil theme of Mvuradona. These beautiful rooms are separated from the main buildings by wooden walkways and include a king size bed (additional single sleeper available on request), open plan bathroom and private patio.

Dining is always a special and intimate affair at Mvuradona. We take great pride in delicious wholesome meals that are served with a smile. Whether you are being spoiled with a refreshing breakfast outdoors accompanied by the cheerful birdsong or being warmed up by the crackling fire and treated with a mouth-watering three course dinner, it’s always a memorable delight. After dinner sink into a chair around our fire-pit and relax while identifying the nightlife sounds of the bush and the bright stars of the African night sky.

Our pool deck overlooks the bushveld where our guests can relax and enjoy the frequent visits of the resident zebra, giraffe, warthog, impala and other little creatures like the mongoose and franklin. This is the perfect spot to spend those hot summer afternoons.

This lovely guest house offers three lovely en-suite, non-smoking rooms, furnished with double, single or twin beds. The en-suite bathrooms each contain a a shower or bath. Each room is equipped with a TV and Internet access is available, as well as tea and coffee facilities. Linen and towels are supplied. All the rooms enjoy lovely views of either the mountain, city or garden.

A continental breakfast is served and lunch packs and dinner are available on request. Secure, off-street parking is available, as well as braai facilities.

Kloofhuis is ideally situated to explore the town’s rich historical heritage and tranquil natural surroundings; it is within walking distance of the centre of town and the 'Heritage Walk', which takes you to tourist attractions such as the Belhaven Museum, Fernlea and Stopforth House, Jock of the Bushveld Monument as well as the Block House which was used during the South African war by the British troops. Various other activities, from birdwatching to hiking and biking, can also be enjoyed in the area.

The guest house is run by the owners, Keith and Faith Guthrie, who welcome guests from all walks of life into a friendly, comfortable and secure atmosphere. The house is Cape Dutch-style, built in 1907, and has a lot of character.

We offer three en-suite rooms accommodating up to a total of eight guests. The rooms lead into a TV lounge which has a bar, a fridge, and a TV with DStv. A side entrance allows guests to come and go as they please. Meals can be served in the garden which has a variety of bird life.

A large garden surrounds the house and is largely indigenous. A swimming pool allows guest to relax around the pool and cool off on a hot summer’s day. It is fully walled and also completely private and secure. The property is fully palisaded with remote control gates.

Guests with pets who enjoy the company of other animals are also welcome. The premises houses a dog parlour and guests who wish to have their pets groomed whilst staying can make an appointment to do so.
