The menu is small but does not disappoint with starters like seared kudu carpaccio drizzled with mustard dressing and served with parmesan shavings and tomato concassé, and a twice baked goats cheese soufflé with a homemade tomato chutney. The tempura prawns with chilli mayonnaise and ginger and butternut soup with croutons are also not to be missed. Try your palate at some game with the pan-fried blesbok rolled in mixed peppercorns with a juniper berry sauce. The panfried sole in a foamy butter sauce with lemon and parsley is a real melt-in-your-mouth option. A more traditional option is the vegetarian lasagne, rich in flavour and extremely decadent. Good food, a great setting and reasonable prices can be found here.
